Client

Forecast - a resource management software that helps project-driven companies automate operations and streamline workflows, all on one platform.


Brief

✅ Provide a new and easily adaptable website that could be updated and maintained by non-technical employees.

✅ Correct website issues which were impacting SEO rankings.

✅ Improve conversions in line with traffic increases.


Challenges

With so many previous iterations, website tracking was inconsistent and there were serious issues affecting SEO rankings. There was also a disparity between traffic growth and conversion rate — while their traffic grew, the number of conversions did not. As well as this, work needed to be completed in a matter of weeks which presented a real challenge to the FINALLY team (but one that we’re more than up to!)

WHAT WE DID

CREATE A WEBSITE THAT WAS EASY TO UPDATE

What? Forecast already had a website on HubSpot but most of it included custom-built templates which could only be updated by a developer. When the developer left, the team found it hard to make even simple changes to the website.

How did we help? Using Forecast’s own designs, we created blocks in HubSpot that made it easier for their marketing team to use and update.

CORRECT SEO ISSUES & ADD TRACKING TO MEASURE SUCCESS

What? A full review of the website was carried out on the existing set-up. The new requirements and opportunities for further insight were looked at and a plan was formed.

How did we help? ​​Alongside vital SEO fixes and updates to the website, we implemented, tested and launched new tracking to the CTAs and website pages which could be easily maintained by the marketing team.

IMPROVE CONVERSIONS

What? There was a gap between traffic growth and conversion rate — while traffic to the Forecast website grew, the number of conversions did not. This suggested that more meaningful CTAs needed to be added around the site.

Why? By updating all the existing pages to the new custom template and modules, the team can now make large and small changes more easily, without the need for a developer. They can test the impact of those changes using A/B testing tools in HubSpot, and ultimately improve their CTA conversion rate, generating more leads and sales.
