Creative Copywriter

Reports to: Head of Content
Hours: Part-time/ Full-time available
Salary: £35k - 40k (pro rata if part time)

This role is for someone who likes solving B2B problems and challenges in creative ways. Someone who can look at often complex, lengthy topics and articulate them clearly, confidently and in a way that feels human. Leading by example, motivation and passion for creative ideas comes naturally. This role would suit someone confident, inventive and personable, who enjoys taking responsibility and is looking to raise standards.

Your role

  • Focused on content marketing and writing across all areas of inbound marketing. This will include (but not limited to) conceptual creative direction, idea generation, and content strategy.
  • Delivering campaign messaging and content such as blogs, whitepapers, reports, brochures, presentations, and videos.
  • A client-facing position, you will be expected to present ideas, run workshops, and take on-board feedback.
  • Creating client brand DNA and tone of voice documents.
  • Be a proactive line-manager for your team by providing constant support, direction and inspiration.
  • Collaborate with the team to create outstanding work that engages audiences and excites clients.
  • Understand the application and implementation of SEO strategies and best practices for short and long-form web content.
  • Quality control and proofreading of your own and colleagues writing.
  • Restructuring of copy to make it more relevant, engaging, and human.
  • Create content for FINALLY to promote on social media that educates our audience and demystifies marketing.

This allows the team to “do life” around the core hours of 10am to 3pm Monday to Friday. The remaining 10 hours can be made up as and when people have the time in the week. Our requirements

  • Ideally, at least 5 years of experience in a similar agency role.
  • Proven strategic and creative thinker that can execute concepts.
  • Comfortable generating ideas with clear strategies aligned to a clients’ business objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Process driven and a stickler for detail.
  • Demonstrate the ability to take complex, dull topics and turn it into clear, simple, compelling copy that will resonate with different audiences.
  • Someone who can handle multiple internal and client tasks, campaigns and initiatives.
  • Experience in delivering on SEO strategies.
  • A team player who shows evidence of working with others to get things done.
